The Debut of the White Halter Dress

And, so, I end my unintentional hiatus with possibly the most awkward face ever captured in a photograph:



My god. Can you believe I post this stuff on the internet?

This is what I wore to run some errands in the heat yesterday. This outfit is so incredibly dressed down by my standards, and yet, I still managed to attract some stares. I suppose that's what vintage clothing does for you. Stops one from becoming invisible. C'est la vie.

I bought this dress a couple of months ago, but hadn't worn it until yesterday. It's beautiful - I think I'll wear it to death over the summer.

And if you're wondering why I haven't made a post styling those pieces that I bought a couple of months ago and asked for your suggestions on how to wear, it's because the sleeves of the yellow organza dress tore right off the first time I wore it. I was horrified, and now have to find some way to salvage the poor thing.
