The Page Girl

Oh, Bettie. The woman who (unwittingly) launched a thousand tacky leopard-print repro dresses died last week, aged 85. I won’t talk about her chequered later life, nor her legacy as a bondage pin-up. That's all been discussed time and time again.

And while Stop Staring isn't my thing at all, I did put together these outfits as a little homage to the glowing, hilariously cheeky woman in Irving Klaw’s photographs.

Oh! That first dress is absolutely divine! I love Betti and her strange influence on fashion.

She was a gorgeous thing, wasn't she?
